Founded by educators for educators, Guided Teaching, Inc. is providing professional staff development and training programs across the United States. Guided Teaching, Inc. is especially proud of its outstanding presenters, all of whom have extensive practical experience in their content areas and are leaders in their respective fields: English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Library, and Classroom Management.
In addition to one-day staff development programs, Guided Teaching, Inc. offers on-going, sustained staff development. These custom-designed programs may include training sessions, classroom model lessons, teacher coaching, and/or most any service deemed necessary for the continued growth and development of your administrators, teachers and, ultimately, your students.

Denni Kay Scates, Ph.D. is a dynamic presenter with a wealth of knowledge and experience drawn from her many years as an educator and librarian in public and private schools, as well as additional years teaching adults at the University level and with the Texas Education Service Center. Denni delivers sound, research-based, authentic programs presented with humor and enthusiasm. Her experience and research in literacy drive a passion for helping all students develop a love for learning, especially using quality literature as a model for reading and writing. Denni's fast-moving seminars are packed with practical strategies and useful ideas that are teacher-friendly and easy to implement.
